This module explores the practical systems and routines that keep a dive centre operating safely, efficiently and consistently each day. Learners follow the complete daily operations cycle—from opening the centre and reviewing bookings to coordinating staff, equipment, cylinders, boats and customer movements.

 

Particular attention is given to the Duty Manager’s role in planning activities, assessing weather and diving conditions, leading staff briefings, maintaining emergency readiness and responding to changing operational needs. The module also covers mid-day reviews, closing procedures and accurate completion of the Duty Manager Log.
